The Cadwallader Club was revitalised in 1974 with the aim of providing a forum in the form of an annual dinner for old J.C.B.C. members to keep in touch and, at the same time, The Cadwallader Trust was set up to receive contributions from Old Members to help support the current J.C.B.C. in view of the high cost of the equipment etc needed for a successful Boat Club.

In both aims they have been very successful with the dinner now regularly attended by over 70 Old Members and the Trust has contributed to the cost most recently of new boats and blades for the women's and men's 1st VIII's.

It has been a pleasure to welcome non-rowing Old Members who have supported the Boat Club to the dinner as well as ex J.C.B.C. oarsmen.

A secondary function of the club is a social one! The main event has been the annual dinner in Oxford, which attracts about seventy former and current Jesus rowers of all generations. All Old Members keen to support college rowing are warmly invited to attend.
