Join us for a "behind the scenes" peek at a major new exhibition on Mary, Queen of Scots and Elizabeth I, set to open at the British Library later this year. The event features Professor Susan Doran, Senior Research Fellow in History at both Jesus College and St Benet's Hall, and Professor Paulina Kewes, Helen Morag Fellow, Tutor and Professor of English Literature at Jesus College, and also the convenor of our Celebrating the Elizabethan College series of events, of which this event is a part. Having both contributed essays to the exhibition catalogue, which Professor Doran has also edited, the pair discuss some of the outstanding primary sources on display, and how they illuminate the relationship between the Protestant Queen and her Catholic cousin, and the world they both inhabited.
