Balliol Entrepreneurs Evening

Professor Peter Donnelly in conversation with Sir Gregory Winter FRS

This networking event for Balliol alumni interested in biotechnology, medical innovation, funding or founding will be hosted by:

  • Professor Peter Donnelly (1980),  Director of the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics and Professor of Statistical Science at the University of Oxford.  Peter played a major role in the HapMap project, and, with colleagues, founded Genomics plc.
  • Sir Gregory Winter FRS, Master of Trinity College Cambridge and until recently a member of the Medical Research Council's Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in Cambridge.  He is a scientist, inventor and entrepreneur, and the founder of Cambridge Antibody Technology, Domantis and, most recently, Bicycle Therapeutics, which is developing bicyclic peptides with chemical warheads for the treatment of cancer.
