Alumni Events

The Department of Earth Sciences runs several alumni events throughout the year, offering the opportunity to get back in touch with old friends, network with other Earth Sciences professionals and learn more about current Departmental research.

There are also opportunities to meet alumni from across the University at the various events run by the central Alumni Office, on professional and interest-based subjects such as the environment, media, conservation, career progression, or Varsity sport. You can find out more about these opportunities on the University's Alumni Events page.

OUGS Geosciences Careers Fair - Friday 19th October 2018

If you have an interesting geoscience career path to showcase, or are looking to recruit the next generation of Earth Scientists, either as interns or full time employees, please do join us at our annual geoscience careers fair, organised by our student society OUGS. Tables cost £200 for employers, and include space in the timetable for a short talk, as well as a chance to network informally with students and Faculty over a drink after the event. Contact OUGS President Daniel Sidwell for further details, or find out more on our website.
