Visiting the College

Old Members are very welcome to visit the College except during the closure periods (ten days at Christmas and seven days at Easter). Access may be limited if there is an event running in College such as a degree ceremony. To avoid disappointment, please call the Lodge (01865 279700) in advance of your visit to check if College will be open, especially when coming from overseas.

Due to the extensive works that are taking place over the summer, the Dining Hall and the Chapel are closed. The College is closed for visitors until 1st October 2016, but we are very happy to allow our Old Members access to the Front Quad.

When you arrive in College, present yourself at The Lodge with an item of ID so that the Lodge receptionist on duty can check your name against the list of Old Members.

If you are planning to bring a group (other than your immediate family) you will need to book in advance by contacting the Lodge.

Visits to the Fellows’ Library will also need to be arranged in advance with the Development Office.

It is also possible to stay in College, and Old Members can dine in College on Sundays during term time.
