Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Jesus-St Anne's Music Society production of Out-Patience

Directed and adapted by David Seddon (1961, English), in Michaelmas Term 1962 the Jesus-St Anne's Music Society staged an updated version of Gilbert and Sullivan's beloved comic opera Patience set in Oxford. Fast forward 60 years, we are delighted to host a special festive gathering to celebrate the immortal works of Gilbert and Sullivan to which all who were involved in the production - as well as our alumni and supporters base more widely - are warmly invited.

Event schedule:

11.00am     Refreshments served, and a small exhibition on Gilbert and Sullivan in Oxford in the Ship Street Centre

12.30pm     Two course lunch in Hall

2.00pm       An informal concert in Chapel, featuring items from Patience and other Savoy operas, led by members past and present of Oxford University Gilbert and Sullivan Society with plenty of items to join in!
