An evening with the Vice-Chancellor in Washington, DC
The Vice-Chancellor will chair a discussion with Professor Barbara Petrongolo of the Department of Economics and Nobel Prize-winner Professor Simon Johnson (Corpus Christi 1984), now Ronald A Kurtz (1954) Professor of Entrepreneurship at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he is head of the Global Economics and Management group. Professor Johnson’s research focuses on how inclusive political systems are essential for long-term economic development. Professor Petrongolo is a specialist in wage inequality, labour markets, unemployment dynamics, and welfare policy. Guests can pre-submit questions for the speakers to address after their discussion.
