Festival of Research 2024

Date: 29th June 2024
Time: From 9.30am
Location: Pembroke College Oxford, OX1 1DW

Join us for a day of discussions, talks and celebration of all things Pembroke: our research, our people, our impact, our treasures, and our food!

With over 50 participants including Fellows, students, former Pembroke academics and alumni, themes for the day span Innovations in Health, Learning from Language, Addressing Global Challenges and AI and the Digital Era.  Our fringe programme will feature an expert-led tour of the College gardens, behind-the-scenes visits to the wine cellar and College archives, an exhibition of our Pembroke 400 Characters, and reflections on our history.

After a world premiere performance of a Pembroke 400 commission by composer Tarik O’Regan, the evening programme will include a Pembroke feast like no other, 17th Century music and dance in honour of our foundation year and a spectacular light show.

Day tickets at £60pp include access to all talks and panel discussions, including fringe events, from 10am to 5pm.

Day and evening tickets at £220pp include the above plus gala concert, drinks, dinner, evening entertainment and the 400 light show, finishing at 10:30pm.
