"Is the UK on track for Net Zero by 2050?"

Join us for a discussion with Chris Stark, Chief Executive of the Climate Change Committee, the "independent, statutory body whose purpose is to advise the UK government...on emissions targets and to report to Parliament on progress made in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preparing for and adapting to the impacts of climate change." 

 

The evening will begin with drinks at 17:30, followed by the discussion and a Q&A at 18:00. The conversation will be chaired by Matt Vickers (1990) and Naga Suresh (2021), founding members of the Merton College Net Zero Group. Please book your place by Sunday 4 February.

The discussion will be hosted on the Zoom platform, and will be accessible through your internet browser or the Zoom app. You will be required to agree to Zoom's Terms of Service and Privacy Statement, after which you will be admitted to the event.
