‘Being back at Balliol for the September Open Day was a reminder of how vibrant College life is, how beautiful the grounds are, and how much all of us are truly missing it! It’s been so lovely to have been able to contribute to Balliol life as one of the JCR Vice-Presidents this past year. As we approach the beginning of term, the JCR Committee has been preparing for Freshers’ Week – from organising karaoke in the Lindsay Bar to film nights in the JCR and adding free pantry brunch to the timetable, it looks to be a fantastic first week back for everyone.’ Lilia Kanu, JCR Vice-President (2021, BA History and English) |
