November 2023

‘My first steps as an Early Career Fellow at Balliol have been stunning and beyond all my expectations. This role allows me to fully dedicate myself to research while living the complete Oxford experience. The warm welcome from everyone has been delightful, and I’ve had the immense privilege of connecting with Fellows from diverse disciplines during various events. These encounters have been profoundly enriching, broadening my perspectives. Being part of one of Oxford’s oldest colleges is truly an honour. Although the journey is just beginning, I sense the upcoming years will be among the most productive and memorable of my life . . .’

Romain Ruzziconi (Walker Early Career Fellow in Mathematical Physics)
