‘It’s been a whirlwind of activities from Day One of my Fellowship. I am enormously grateful for the dazzling warmth and kindness with which Balliol welcomed me at the beginning of this term — from the phenomenal College staff to my wonderful new friends and colleagues who make me feel like I’ve been here for years. At any lunch or dinner, one is guaranteed a thoughtful neighbour and an engrossing discussion. I look forward to learning more about everyone’s work and couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of Balliol.’
