News and updates from Balliol College

November 2020

'The early morning mist is setting in, giving the grounds that feeling of being in a dream. Balliol feels quieter than it would usually, but people are quicker to smile. The time that we do get to spend with one another is far more meaningful, and these moments show us the importance of our friends now more than ever. I’m so glad to see the JCR still bringing people together and it makes me happy to know that as the weeks move on this community will become even more close-knit. There’s something empowering about all being in it together.'

Rory D'Angelo (2018, English), JCR Vice-President
