News and updates from Balliol College

September 2019

‘What with moving into the temporary Lodge and setting up new post rooms in the Front Quad, the Open Day (with a climate change protest going on outside), and the Balliol Society and Balliol Women weekends, it’s been a particularly busy month for us at the Lodge. But it’s great to be celebrating 40 years of women, and to have helped make sure that everything went according to plan. And it will be lovely to have a new Lodge that will enhance the College. Now we’re getting ready for the term, and looking forward to seeing the returning students and meeting the new ones.’

Stan Forbes, Acting Senior Porter
