News and updates from Balliol College

January 2019

'Early January is a pivotal point in undergraduate admissions, as we send out letters to the many applicants who went through admissions interviews in December. It’s the culmination of months of hard work by academic and office staff, and by the many current students who help look after applicants while they are here. For some there will be disappointment, for others it’s the start of a conversation stretching through to when their school exam results are released in August, and hopefully into their arrival as Freshers in October.'

Sebastian Shimeld, Fellow and Tutor in Zoology, and Tutor for Undergraduate Admissions
