News and updates from Balliol College

July 2018

'It's been a busy couple of months, with two Taster Days - for Physics and Philosophy and for English - followed by the Open Days, which saw our biggest footfall ever: over 4,500 prospective applicants visited. Now we're gearing up for the residential part of the Floreat access programme, when 40 year-12 students from state schools in Hertfordshire will come to Balliol for tutorials run by our tutors and graduates, based on essays they have submitted, and visit departments for sessions providing specialist advice on making applications.'
