News and updates from Balliol College

October 2017

'I have recently taken up my post as a CDF in Spanish. Settling in would normally need time but that hasn't been the case at Balliol: I have only been immersed in College life for a couple of weeks but it seems as if I have always lived in this incredibly welcoming community. I endeavour to remember the names and disciplines of all the Fellows in the SCR – in the hope of not mixing them up – and to become familiar with the College’s vocabulary and acronyms. I enjoy the beautiful gardens and, above all, I feel extremely privileged to teach my students.'
Diana Berruezo-Sánchez, Career Development Fellow in Modern Languages
