April 2025

'I officially started as Chaplain on the day of the Advent Carol Service: our most popular service of the year, complete with trumpet fanfare and a choir of almost sixty singers! As I reflect on my first few months in the role, I am struck by the talent and dedication of the choir and organ scholars, the warmth and friendliness of staff and Fellows, and the wonderful privilege of leading services in our beautiful chapel. Trumpet fanfares or not, Balliol is a fantastic place to work.'
