'I always say that Trinity Term is my favourite, as I (perhaps wrongly!) associate it with sunny weather. However, I can say without doubt that the Saturday of Oxmas (Oxford's early Christmas celebration) is my favourite day of the academic calendar. We gather in the Hall to listen to cheesy music, wear jolly jumpers, and spend time together – chatting, laughing, and making our festive wreaths. Foliage and greenery are wrapped around willow bases, each in its maker’s own distinct style. It always reminds me of the beauty and uniqueness of each of our students. What’s not to love?'
