'As we move into spring, the bulbs are coming out all over College. There seems to be a rejuvenating effect to these flowers, and it reminds me of how lucky I am to study in such a beautiful place. Entering my second term as JCR President, I am enjoying the opportunity to engage with and promote exciting student events such as the garden party, which this year is themed around folklore. Here’s to a sunny Trinity!'

The Balliol community is greatly saddened by the death of Sir Anthony Leggett (1955), who had been an Honorary Fellow since 1989. Sir Anthony died on 8 March 2026 at the age of 87. |
