June 2025

'There's a particular magic to Balliol – one part architectural elegance, one part intellectual ferment, and one part excellent pudding. It's rare to find a place so serious about ideas and yet so delightfully unserious about itself. My time here has sharpened my scholarship, widened my circles, and reminded me why I chose an academic life in the first place. I'm especially grateful for the cross-disciplinary exchanges that somehow made even my obscure interests seem urgently important.'
