June 2024

‘As my time as this year’s John G. Winant Visiting Professor comes to an end, I have to say that this has been the experience of a lifetime. I have met so many fascinating, brilliant, and kind people, and will forever cherish my memories and friendships at Balliol. Special thanks to the staff in the dining hall and SCR, Chef Bertrand for providing spectacular cuisine, the benefactors of the Visiting Fellowship, and all the Fellows who I have come to know and share meals with. I will miss you all and look forward to staying in touch.’

Professor Jason Casellas (John G. Winant Visiting Professor)
